The first card I used was Tidy Up, which helped me just generally clean up the story in general, any unnecessary lines, any parts I felt dragged on too long, and fixing any confusing grammar. My main goal was to just make the story more clean and more coherent.
The second card I used was Don't stress over one thing more than another, which helped me to better organize and move on from one point to another. I tend to be a person who will work something to death, not knowing when enough is enough, so keeping in mind to keep my edits balanced helped me to move on. I could've worked on one sentence for 20 minutes but if i did, I would never get any work done.
The last card I used was Emphasize the flaws, which helped me to really make the story much more fun and lively. Since the story was initially spoken, it retained a lot of my coloquialisms, which I was initally going to edit out, however, the flaws in speech, I felt, helped give my character much more personality and flavor to her speech that might not have been there if I edited it out. She came across as much more loose and fun, which I feel helps her character
